After being a Funeral Director for ten years, seeing the number of families that said “we were just going to start to travel” or “They just retired and we’ve always wanted to travel” I decided that I was not going to wait to travel. So I got involved with a travel company that left me very disappointed with the way they did business. There was no way I was going to be a part of that type of dishonesty and deceptions’. So my wife Sandy and I put that dream on hold.
I started my own catering business and put all my focus into building that traditional business that cost me over a quarter million dollars to get started. While the love of building that business was great and an exciting part of what drove me each day to do something bigger and better, the dream of travel was still on the back burner.
After several years of building a catering business and working 70 to 80 hours a week, the travel bug struck again. While I was hospitalized for a few days because of exhaustion a friend came to visit me in the hospital and started talking about this great company he found that had to do with travel. Even though it piqued my interest I was very hesitant to look into it. Finally, after several attempts to get me to a meeting my friend basically forced me to attend a local meeting. Once I watched the presentation I realized that God works in strange ways. This was a travel business that not only sounded great, it was founded by a minister and was, in my opinion, founded with Christian principles with honesty and transparency. As you can guess, I joined the business, that was many years ago and I haven’t regretted that decision one little bit.
Recently I was forced to relocate and rebuild my catering business due to my landlords selling the property and not renewing my lease. This made me realize that I had the answer to my problems all along! This company allows me to not only help myself, my family and our future but it allows me to help the many people in this world that need a glimmer of hope, a desire to achieve something positive in their lives and the need to change their outlook or future. If I was willing to put forth the effort that I did building my catering business then building my travel business would be an easy transition and a more rewarding endeavor.
Basically, as a husband to a wonderful supporting wife of over 25 years, a father of two great and fantastic sons, it’s my responsibility to support, educate, provide for, and guide them through a world that’s full of turmoil and uncertainty. They are my legacy and this business is a part of that.

Treat this inexpensive home based business like it cost a million dollars, don’t give up and never let someone’s “no” stop you from trying. If you truly care about people and use that love to drive your business, you will become successful by default. Follow the system and be “Coachable”.
